8D World Hosts International Multimedia Veterans and Educators

As an energetic and rapidly growing company, 8D World is catching more and more global attention since the release of its award winning Wiz World Online, the world’s first virtual world dedicated for global English-as-foreign-language (EFL) learners to improve their spoken English. Recently, Gil Taran, CEO of iCarnegie and Professor Donald Marinelli, Executive Producer at the Entertainment Technology Center of Carnegie Mellon University, USA visited 8D World to get a deeper view of Wiz World Online.

Staff from 8D World and visitors had a live discussion on the key design considerations involved in Wiz World Online, particularly around how to seamlessly integrate gaming mechanics and education. Gil Taran commented at the end of the visit, “I feel very excited and honored to visit 8D World. We heard about Wiz World Online before. We are glad to have the opportunity to be in the place where Wiz World Online was born.”

Both Gil Taran and Donald Marinelli expressed their hope that more parents and children in China and beyond would be able to benefit from Wiz World Online.
